The faculty at OPS INTERNATIONALSCHOOL is a highly dedicated and professional team, with the special qualities of patience and understanding that distinguish a good teacher. They are dynamic, relaxed and enthusiastic with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere in which the child can express himself and learn. Teachers, as facilitators, guide and counselors encourage the development of each child by providing security & warmth and emphasizing self-discipline. Never satisfied with tried and tested measures, they delight in creating more effective ways to explore and share knowledge thus breathing life into their teaching, thereby, enabling the children to go beyond rote learning. Our teachers are here because they love teaching, they love kids and they love OPS INTERNATIONALSCHOOL, resulting in a dynamic, challenging, interesting and excitement filled atmosphere.

Teaching Methods

Teaching at OPS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL is inquiry-based and skill-based along with focused methodology; thus, promoting active involvement in learning with opportunity to make personal choices.

Taking education beyond the textbook, teaching here is research-based and activity oriented, utilizing technologically advanced teaching tools to deliver the best to students. Exclusive focus is given to creativity, self expression, social and emotional development. Students practice and hone various academic skills like reading, writing, speaking, critical thinking, mathematical, and creative. Group discussions, seminars, visits by eminent guest faculty /speakers, field visits, and project work, form an integral part of school learning.

Workshop /Training

The teacher community at OPS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL is highly valued; hence, we encourage teacher development programs to enable our faculty to professionally grow in their fields of interest. Continuous training, seminars, and workshops are conducted by national and international teams to enable our teachers to expand their teaching skills.
